MFC is composite wood. Paper is coated with melamine, a thermosetting substance. To make it, wood chips that have been processed are combined with a strong resin. In other words, it’s a manufactured item that mimics the look and feel of natural wood. Using high-pressure heat bonding is another option for impregnating the paper to the particleboard.
